How We Review Your Request
We treat every story with the dignity and privacy it deserves. Our process is designed to be as supportive as possible:
- Confidential Application: Submit your information through our secure online form.
- Compassionate Review: A dedicated committee of nine HCSG employees reviews each application. They look at every request with care and collective input to determine the most impactful grant amount for your needs.
- Personal Connection: A team member will reach out for a confidential conversation to better understand your unique situation and documentation.
- Decision & Payment: Applicants are notified directly regarding the outcome of their application. If approved, grant payments are typically distributed within 2–3 business days.

Application timing varies depending on application volume, documentation received, and available resources.
Applications are generally reviewed in the order they are received, and every application receives individualized attention throughout the process.
