The Going Beyond Assistance Fund is a 501(‌c)(3) nonprofit organization created to support Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) employees during times of unexpected hardship. Built on a deep commitment to our people, GBAF exists to provide meaningful assistance when employees need it most. We believe no one should have to face life’s difficult moments alone. Through financial assistance and the support of fellow team members, GBAF helps employees navigate challenges, regain stability, and move forward with confidence.

Our Mission & Purpose

The Going Beyond Assistance Fund (GBAF) exists to provide temporary financial assistance to eligible Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) employees experiencing unexpected hardship. Built on the belief that employees helping employees creates stronger communities, GBAF provides meaningful support designed to reduce financial stress and help team members navigate periods of uncertainty with dignity.

Our mission is simple: provide support when it matters most and ensure employees know they have a community standing behind them.

Who We Serve: GBAF supports eligible HCSG employees and their families during times of unexpected hardship. Whether facing medical challenges, housing instability, natural disasters, loss of income, or other qualifying events, our goal is to help employees regain stability during difficult times.

How We Work: Every request is handled confidentially, reviewed individually, and approached with care, respect, and fairness.

Employees Helping Employees: What makes GBAF unique is that it is built and sustained by the very people it serves. Through employee donations, payroll contributions, fundraising efforts, and volunteer leadership, employees across the country come together to support one another.

Responsible Stewardship: Our volunteer Selection Committee, comprised of fellow HCSG team members, carefully reviews applications to promote fairness, thoughtful decision-making, and responsible stewardship of every dollar donated.
