Our housekeepers, cooks, and dietary aids are the backbone of the facilities we serve. They rise to the occasion every day to provide essential care for residents, but when personal crisis strikes—from medical emergencies to natural disasters—they often lack the safety net needed to recover. The Going Beyond Assistance Fund (GBAF) exists solely to be that safety net, turning our collective compassion into a lifeline for the colleagues who need it most.

Fills a pantry with essential groceries for a family of four. Your gift ensures that a teammate can put food on the table without worry while navigating a sudden financial hardship.

Our 2025 Impact Goal

As we look toward the end of the year, our goal is clear: to ensure no HCSG colleague faces a crisis alone. As of November 2025, we have reached 213 HCSG Colleagues with over $208,700 in Hardship Grants. But with a more active disaster season and rising housing costs, the need continues to grow. We have set a 2025 Year-End Goal of $325,000 to ensure we can provide assistance to the 250+ colleagues expected to need our help before the year is out. Your contribution directly funds grants of up to $2,500 that change lives in real-time.

During my nine-year tenure with HCSG, I’ve always been proud to contribute to the GBAF. Recently, a move put me in a difficult financial position, and I turned to the GBAF for help.
